Captive Shock Mounts are low profile and relatively stiff failsafe mounting, making them suitable for high-frequency applications. They have a close ratio between compression and shear, making them ideal for mobile applications. These mounts, often used as a rubber buffer, are available in various compounds from Natural Rubber to Silicone (high temperature resistance).
